Welcome to this Episode of FROM THE BELL TOWER, a podcast of the Nhill Lutheran Parish and it's congregations; St. Paul's Nhill, St. Paul's Woorak and St. John's Jeparit, bringing you elements of our 1st SUNDAY IN ADVENT, 28th November, 2021. I am Pastor Carl Thiele. Our focus for this week comes our Old Testament reading; '16 In those days Judah will be saved, and Jerusalem will dwell securely. And this is the name by which it will be called: ‘The Lord is our righteousness.’ Jeremiah 33: 16. The candle we light for this 1st Sunday in Advent is the Candle of Hope.
